Great price for nice convertable pant
The button fell off in the dressing room while trying on. But a little needle and thread took care of that. For me the sizing ran a little large. I usually where a 10, but it was too big in this pant. Size 8 fit better. I like that the legs are not too wide which I have found to cause chaffing on long hikes with some other pants. If you have big athletic thighs, the leg bottoms, near the zip-off pant zipper might be too tight. The waist band lining is nice for under a pack. The long zipper leg openings allow for pant legs to be removed over boots. Great deal on this Marmot brand of which I have many their other products that have stood the test of time and backcountry abuse.
nice pants, but have some quirks
These pants are really cute, but run very small. I ordered a 4 and it fit me like a 2. I really like the fleecy like lining on the inside of the waistband. I could see that as offering added comfort. I noticed that the button is already close to falling off and should probably be secured with sturdier thread. The pockets have no zippers or velcro closures and are very shallow, not very good for keeping things secure. If you want a cute pant on the sturdier side for camping or light hiking, then these are your pants.
