Bliss 2.0 is the premium package: women-specific geometry, lightweight shocks and wheelsets, disc brakes and SRAM drivetrain; it's all the good stuff
Bliss is designed to fit women, not men; frame sizing accommodates short inseams, and frame geometry conforms to short torso and reach lengths
True Link platform yields 4 in. of float and remains active during pedaling and braking, resisting lockout and enhancing traction, control and comfort
6061 aluminum tubes are double butted (thick at the ends, narrowing once toward the middle) for a savings in weight without a reduction in strength
Lightweight hydroformed downtube is shaped to add strength alongside the headset and bottom bracket , where many frames fail
RockShox suspension in the front and rear helps soften landings and deliver outstanding performance on fast downhills and technical single track
RockShox Tora 302 front suspension provides 100mm of travel to reduce rider fatigue on speedy descents and keep you in control on technical terrain
RockShox Bar 2.1 rear suspension reduces road shock

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. This is a great all around cross country bike. It is sized and tuned for a female. Plenty of shock action to absorb the bumps in the trail. It will gear down and climb anything. Built rugged but light.

REI did a poor job tuning the front and rear derailleurs. Needed to be readjusted just to stay in gear during first ride. Suggest you ride it around the parking lot before you bring it home!!

I shopped around at many bike stores and nothing could beat the price of the Novara Bliss 2.0 when comparing the components. I have taken my bike out on single track and concrete trails and it rides like a champ. It is a little bit heavy, but that is ok as it feels rugged and strong. Rides nicely on the road as well. I would highly recommend this bike if you are a woman looking for a solid mountain bike. The price just went down another [$], so now you really can't beat the value!!

Service and delivery comments:

My delivery was very fast, sooner than expected. Everything I ordered came in perfect condition. I made an appt with TS and had my bike fit to me. I have also brought it in one time so far for a minor adjustment to the front disc brake and gears. TS took care of me very quickly and I was out in no time at all!

I bought this bike last year for a trip to Moab and it performed really well--handled the slickrock, sand and dirt--uphill, downhill--comfortable and the brakes were terrific. I had a little problem with the back shock squeaking, but when I got home the local REI fixed it at no cost. Great value in a full suspension bike designed for women.
