Comments about Nite Ize Dog Discuit:
Bought this to play fetch with my 1 year old german shepherd, but it doesn't float in the air very well. If I try to throw it fairly short it drops to the ground before my dog can reach it, if I throw it hard enough for it to stay in the air a reasonable amount of time it goes too far for my dog to catch up to it before it hits the ground. Plus it doesn't fly very straight at all. I chose this disc over another one because I thought the light feature would be fun for my dog at night and it looked like it would fly reasonably well. Looks like I will have to get another frisbee that my dog will actually be able to jump up and catch out of the air.

Comments about Nite Ize Dog Discuit:
This is a great idea, but like all of the Nite Ize disks, my dog immediately bites off the battery cover losing it(since you play with it at night and they're clear) and sometimes the light/batteries.

Comments about Nite Ize Dog Discuit:
I've tested over a dozen flying disc toys for dogs and this is one of the top two. Previously we had the
Flashlight disc by this same manufacturer, but the light fell out of that one. The light retainer on this disc is far better. The discuit flies faster than a normal frisbee, so slower dogs may not like it. The Gummabone frisbee by nylabone is made of the same tough material, flies a little slower, but doesn't have a light. My slower dog loves the Gummabone Frisbee. My faster dog loves the Discuit. The light works very well and my dog carries it on our walks at night.
