Comments about Nite Ize 1-Watt LED Upgrade:
This thing is really bright! Much much brighter than the bulb that it replaced. Easy to install, but pay attention to the instructions when installing it--the LED can be installed in two orientations, but only one will work (because that's the way diodes work...). You install it one way, and if it doesn't work you turn the bulb around and install it the other way (and then it works!). I haven't tested battery life yet but that should be pretty good, too, with this LED installed.

Comments about Nite Ize 1-Watt LED Upgrade:
This is far superior to the lower priced Nite Ize LED upgrade for the Mini-mag. Output is just mediocre for a 1 watt, its probably being driven at 1/2 watt. If you like your Mag-lites, this is a good bet.

Comments about Nite Ize 1-Watt LED Upgrade:
This is a nice upgrade. Very easy to install, and is a great improvement over the incandescent that was originally in there. I bought one just to see how it was, now I'm sold, going to upgrade all my mini mags with this.

Comments about Nite Ize 1-Watt LED Upgrade:
As mentioned already, this puts out more light than the original zenon bulb. Although the beam is not adjustable, the reflector design puts out plenty of peripheral light for seeing your imediate area while projecting a very strong beam for at least 100 ft. I didn't even have new batteries in my mini mag and they lasted the whole week and a half on our hunting trip without any attempt to spare the batteries.
NOTE: Do NOT go with the 3 led conversion. It does not work anywhere near as well.
