Comments about Rock Climbing Anchors - A Comprehensive Guide:

Possibly the best book on the subject I've read yet. I just re-read three other books on climbing anchors so that's high praise. I'll definitely be reading this one again soon, and I've dog-eared many pages for quick reference. Craig Luebben's prose may not always be as entertaining as John Long's, but his engineering background and technical detail make up for it. The photos and diagrams are excellent and clear. The explanations are straightforward with both logical and technical justifications. It's also good to see newer gear addressed, including cams and slings that have come on the market since I started climbing.
