      I purchased this bag online and unfortunately I returned it right away. This bag might have been great except for the black mesh fabric used in the construction. The black portion above the front pocket is all mesh. While this mesh material may allow water to evaporate to will also allow dirt, debris and moisture to enter the bag making its protective properties unless.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I purchased this bag last year after buying new boots. It travels well and holds everything except my clothes! Another review said that the mesh on the front made the bag vulverable. I find that, since I don't leave it out in the elements, it does exactly what was stated. I just took it out of my storage unit and checked stuff and nothing was even dusty! My boots stay aireated and I carry caps, sox, gloves, glasses, chapstick, sunscreen, etc. With everthing in one place, I love this bag!
