Comments about Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Pack Liner - 50 Liters:
Bought mine, as well as several smaller S2S dry sacks, for a hike down the Escalante river in Utah. We planned to follow the river as well as do some slots. I ended up taking a dunk and swimming with my pack on several times. I had my sleeping bag in a smaller SylNil dry sack, but the pack liner did it's job. We also experianced rains that caused a 100 year flood, and the pack liner did its job.
Well worth the 3 oz, but it is not for moisture critical items (expensive cameras for example). For these you will need to haul the weight (12 - 20 oz)of a heavy duty coated dry sack.
It kept my gear dry and my base weight under 14 lbs.
