Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
Happy to find these again. I purchased last season and lost 1 of my pair. GoreTex cycling gloves that truely keep you dry. I was able to try on my first pair prior to purchase, they do tend to run a size small.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
I commute and bought these gloves to deal with the changing weather on my ride. After a ride where the temp was below 30 plus a 5-10 mph wind, my hands were frozen. I e-mailed Gore:The Cross GORE-TEX® gloves come with a GUARANTEE TO KEEP YOU DRY promise but is sounds like you may not be using them for their intended use - wet not cold. For warmth our WINDSTOPPER® fabric gloves cannot be beat. You could wear a pair of under gloves with your GORE-TEX® gloves. Please see gorebikewear[@] under technologies to find our more about our fabric technologies and products. Thanks. Buy the liners if you want extra warmth. They help!

Purchased them to use on rides < 40 degrees and they do not offer any warmth at these temperatures. Not sure about the windproof statements, b/c my fingers are frozen.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
I bought them for protection from the heavy portland rain, which we get alot of. Unfortanetly it has not rained much since I have had the gloves, but I have had - much good luck with GORE-TEX shoes, so I have faith in the GORE-TEX gloves.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
These gloves work very well FOR THEIR DESIGNED PURPOSE.
1) Insulation needs will vary from person to person, for me these are warm enough down to 40 degrees. Below that I either add a liner or go to a heavier glove. Keep in mind when you're on a bike you're moving through the air.
40 degrees at 15mph = 22 degrees F
30 degrees at 15mph = 9 degrees F
and for those saying they ride in the 20's with these
25 degrees at 15mph = 2 degrees F
2) They work extremely well in the rain but take longer than desired to completely dry off. The gloves don't leak but they do seem to hold onto a little bit of water.
3) The outer cuff is great for sealing up the gap between jacket and glove at the wrist. I use these gloves on my 50cc scooter as well and they keep the elements out. The elastic is also easy to adjust even with one glove on to get the cuff nice and snug.
Overall these are durable, reliable and they get the job done. It's a well rounded winter glove.

I'm not sure about this product.
The main reason why I bought it, is the waterproof. Next week it´s going to rain and I will try it. I have news for you very soon.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
I bought a pair of these gloves, hoping to have them keep me warm in 30-40F weather. These gloves seem to run a size too small. I picked these gloves thinking that the cinch-down extensions and the material would keep the wind and moisture out. I used the gloves for 1 half-day ride noticed that they didn't insulate as well as I expected. The cinch cord broke on 1 glove. I chose to return the gloves since they didn't appear to hold up and perform to the price I paid for them.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
I've used the gloves both in heavy rain and as low as 24 degrees. My hands stay dry in the rain if I keep water out of the cuffs. When the temps get into the mid-20s, my hands still get a little cold but these gloves are a noticable improvement over my other winter gloves which allowed my hands to get painfully cold in the same temps.
I'd like to see a little more padding and I wish insulation could be improved without sacrficing hand mobility but I still appreciate these gloves as quite suitable for Willamette Valley winters.
Sizing is about a half-size small but not enough that I'd size up if I were to replace my current pair.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Cross Gloves - Men's:
Good: wind proof, waterproof in light to moderate rain (haven't tried heavy rain). Comfortable fit once you get the sizing right and break them in a bit. Warm enough down to 35 degrees or so. Padding on palm is thin but better than nothing.
Bad: As other have noted, they are at least a size too small. I normally wear a medium glove but had to re-order and get a large, which was still a bit tight until broken in. Not great in really cold weather - I used them at about 30 degrees and they didn't help much. Would have expected a bit more given the price.
