Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
These are useless under rain. This week, on two different days, these covers made me miserable. These are okay under light rain/drizzle, but not under constant rain. These covers leaked water just after about 30 minutes of riding, and I had to endure the cold rain for the next several hours.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
I have two complaints. First, they are too small. I purchased the XL for a 10.5 Shimano shoe, and it still took a half-hour and one tear to get them all the way on. Second, they provide inadequate warmth. I took them out on a dry, 38-degree Milwaukee morning, and although my feet were comfortable for the first 20 minutes, by the end of an hour ride my toes were completely numb. Now, maybe this model is intended for slightly warmer weather, but I think that it would have to be 50-degrees or so before these would provide adequate warmth for a long ride. If you are looking for something for 50-degree weather, these might be for you (if you can get them on). Otherwise, I think you need neoprene.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
I agree with what everyone else has mentioned. They are too small for their size. They are suppose to be snug but even with that, its a pain to zip up. I struggle each time. Once they're one though, they're great. Keep my feet warm. They probably couldn't get you below 35/40 degrees but until then they're fine.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
These effectively keep my feet warm, but I don't dare use them without plastic bags over my feet if there's a chance of precipitation, as they soak up water like a sponge and hold ample moisture around your feet. This is especially terrible on a morning commute, as they regularly take more that 24 hours to air dry, so the evening commute is uncomfortable even if the roads are dry.
Also, don't use these if the city you live in uses salt on the roads in the winter, as this seems to corrode the plastic zippers, rendering them frustrating to impossible to use.
Also, the seam on the sole of these has torn nearly all the way after about one year of seasonal use.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
I wear a women's size 10 and purchased a large and an extra large pair. Both did not fit properly. Even with tight bike shoes. It pinches at the heel and was very difficult to zip up. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
I think the only reason for shoe covers are really wet or really cold conditions, like those I experience in Alaska. These shoe covers don't really work well for either. They are much smaller than the label claims, they aren't very waterproof, and they didn't keep my feet any warmer at 30 degrees than plain ol' cycling shoes did. I'll be going with neoprene next time.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
These are good shoe covers (great fit), but only for specific conditions. These aren't made for the severe cold; they're really only good for mild conditions (sunny and 55-70 degrees). You can feel the cold air seeping in when the temp drops to 50 or below. If you're going to be riding in really cold weather, spend the extra money to get the AmFIB's. Otherwise these are great.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
Light weight shoe cover with useful extra features such as the velcro strap for extra strength in securing around leg and reflective tape. Can do without the prominent manufacturer logo and suggest ordering a size larger than the manufacturer suggests for each shoe size. Jury still out on durability, since this is the first winter season with this product.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
They would not zip up over my size 10 shoes. As a result they did not keep my feet from getting cold during a two hour ride in high 30's damp weather. They may be effective if your shoes are smaller, but the size I bought was supposed to be correct for size 10 shoes

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Shoe Cover:
These boot covers keep your feet warm and dry. If you live in a climate where the weather gets very cold, I would suggest getting warmer boot covers. In more temperate climates, these work great.
