The Outdoor Research Motto Jacket is a descent-inspired soft shell that offers maximum weather protection on bitter cold ski days.

  • Fully waterproof Ventia™ fabric allows snow to glide right off, while the clean-finished, seam-taped interior slides comfortably over layers
  • Soft brushed interior wicks moisture and adds warmth
  • Full-length front zipper features an internal stormflap; brushed tricot-lined collar is soft against skin
  • Helmet-compatible, dual-pull hood can be zipped off and stored in the zippered rear stash pocket
  • Double sliding pit zippers allow on-demand venting
  • Zip-out mesh powder skirt offers protection on ski days and zips out for less bulk and greater ventilation on hard-working climbing days

    Comments about Outdoor Research Motto Jacket - Men's:

    I have had this jacket in all conditions and it holds up like a champ, even when I abuse it. The waterproofness is good, but breathability does suffer a bit due to this. It is to be expected though, and I can live with it. I especially like this in very cold temps (0 degrees F and less) with a patagonia down sweater underneath. I highly recommend this jacket.
