    Comments about Outdoor Research Solitude Pants - Women's:

    I stepped out of the "ice box" last year...you know, the standard black soft shell pants and went with the Solitude Pant in a beautiful brown (think it is called espresso). I received tons of positive comments on the color/cut. I like them because they keep me warm (plenty of room for a pair of expedition weight long underwear on super cold days...-40F in Nipigon, Ontario won the prize last season!), allow for me to move fluidly on the ice, hold their shape after lots of wearing/washing, shed water and fight back when my crampons try to take a bite out of the material.

    I paired the brown Solitude pants with the Mithril jacket in blue and my photos on the ice really popped:) Can't wait to jump into my uniform again this season...just waiting for the ice!
