Merrell Siren Sport Gore-Tex® XCR® cross-training shoes are waterproof and solid performers in your multisport endeavors, wet or dry.

  • Synthetic leather and pigskin uppers with nylon mesh underlays are supple, lightweight and durable
  • Gore-Tex XCR seam-sealed inner booties offer a new level of breathability while retaining complete waterproof protection
  • Padded tongues relieve lace pressure; heel and tongue loops aid entry

      I have a very hard time finding shoes because my feet are pretty wide. I usually end up buying a size larger to accomodate the width. This shoe had a comfortable toe box that didn't squish any of my toes! For the first time in a long time, I actually bought the correct size shoe for my foot. These shoes are very light, and the colors are great, too! Love them!

        These are an amazing shoe! I bought them to use on trail runs but I find myself using them all the time. They are perfect in the rain--on my last run I ran straight through a puddle and my feet-completely dry!
        They look like they would be really heavy, but they are surprisingly very light!
        Also great for day hikes/short backpacking trips!

          Size-wise, I wear a 5.5 in dress shoes (thin socks or hose), a 6 in some Merrell mocs, and a 6.5 in most running shoes (worn with medium socks). This particular shoe fits more like my running shoes than like mocs, so 6.5 is my size when worn with a medium sock, with one finger's space free for foot expansion. My commute includes about 15 minutes (each way) of walking on pavement, a soft-mulched trail, and a grassy/dirt path. These shoes are stable and supportive in the broad range of surfaces I encounter daily. They offer protection from stones or tree roots on my dirt path, yet they aren't too stiff or clunky for wearing on a city street. I've worn them in wet weather, and they keep my feet dry. They gave off fumes when I first opened the box, so I aired out the shoes for about a week before wearing them.

            These are my first pair of Merrells, and I've been incredibly happy with them. It's true that you probably need to go a full size up from your usual size, but other than that, I haven't had any surprises with them. In addition to day hikes, I've used them for trail running as well as pavement running, and they work great. All in all, a really great trail shoe.

              This is a welcome alternative to the hiking boots.I broke the shoes in walking 3 miles on the treadmill only! I did hiking at moderate and strenuous levels in Utah and the support was great. However, there are small rips on the front after the 7-day trip.

              These were not ready to wear as my other merrells have been in the past. I had to break them in to get them comfortable which has been a pain. I had to go up one full size to get the right fit, could that be from the Gortex? Now they are comfy and have kept my feet dry in the wet muck I trudge through at work. Lots of compliments on the colors and style. I'm tempted to buy a back up pair for non work days!! Great shoe!!
