      These vests are great, and you can't beat the price. I wear mine on hikes when its cool out and casually when I don't need a full jacket. The fleece breathes well and dries pretty quickly, so it would be fine to use in wet weather, provided you have a shell. It fits snugly (but not overly so) so it works great as a base layer. If you are thinking about buying one, don't hesitate it is a great product.

          This is a good, inexpensive vest. It will keep you relatively warm, and won't wear out quickly. There is nothing fancy about it, but a very good baselayer. I wear mine quite often.

          I worked at a kids camp in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and wore this vest nearly every day and it never let me down. It isn't "waterproof" but it did shed light rains; which was great because they came through daily.
