Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
I can not say enough good things about these shoes! I wear them EVERYWHERE (which drives my husband nuts cause he thinks they are hideous!) I wear mine on campus, camping, hiking, swimming, around the house, basically everywhere. The feeling these shoes give you when walking is unbelievable. You really do feel like your barefoot! I have also purchased the socks to go with them and they make the shoe a lot warmer (for colder weather). The only small downside to these shoes is that they do tend to smell a bit after getting them wet and wearing them. However, this is easily rectified with a quick throw in the washing machine.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
I love these shoes. They are not for the feint of heart, but if you are a quasi-barefooter, these crazy shoes are for you. I don't wear them to work - I do wear them for all non-snow athletic pursuits, including running (no they do not have padding). No chafing, no blisters. The grippy soles are fabulous for wet surfaces. Super durable, mine have thousands of miles on them and barely look scuffed.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
I have a pair of these five fingers and I absolutely love them!!! I have used these boating, scubadiving (under fins), beach, etc. I have even worn these in questionable shower/bathrooms when traveling. They pack up well with low bulk and moderate to light weight and have awesome traction on wet surfaces. These are well worth the buy!

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
I've had my Vibrams for a year and LOVE them. I wear them to work, walking, fishing, and kayaking. They are great for those who like to be barefoot. However, these have no padding so be careful on cement, if you heel strike you will have sore feet in these. Also, you won't want to wear in super rocky areas, you will feel the rocks through them.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th toes were too long for my foot, and they get caught on the ground. The big toe size was perfect. The heel cuts in very tight at your Achilles, and there is extra space below it, which didn't bother me. I have a very average foot and toes. I'm female; men don't seem to have fit problems with these. Maybe they need to modify the female version?
Otherwise, this is an awesome concept. As a Rolfer, I teach people to select lightweight footwear that simulates barefoot walking. This shoe is the very best option I've seen so far. I eagerly look forward to version 1.1, which hopefully will fit me.

Above all, these are FUN! I feel like I have so much more energy when I run in these!
You have to ease into wearing these (my pinky toe took a couple days getting used to independence, and you use different calf muscles). Best on dirt trails and grass - you can use them on concrete if you're brave. Avoid rocky mountain trails unless you want a painful foot massage!
You want an exact fit with these (no toe-wiggling room needed). I would recommend getting Ininji toe socks (except for with the neoprene version).
A couple dingers:
1. the velcro strap on one "shoe" was not very securely attached when it arrived, and is now loose on mine.
2. the top material is not very durable, and I've already torn a small hole in the big toe of one shoe (another reason to make sure yours fits tight!)
Nevertheless, I would highly recommend these for anyone who loves the outdoors! I bought them because I thought it would be fun to rock-hop in them.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
These shoes are amazing. They are practically glued to my feet; I wear them everwhere that I can. I know they look goofy, but they improve my balance, posture and are really comfy. I'm actually looking at buying another pair. One of my favorite things about them at that they are machine washable!

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
We bought these because we hate wearing shoes, but being barefoot is not always an option. These are the most comfortable shoes we have ever owned. The traction is amazing, they dry quickly and it feels just like you're running around barefoot, but with support and protection. I would recommend this product to ANYONE.[...]

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Water Shoes - Women's:
I bought these shoes before a trip to the Galapagos Islands and they were perfect. We had a lot of water landings followed by hikes, and these shoes dried quickly and were comfortable to hike in all day. While others on my trip were constantly taking their sandals or shoes off to get the sand out, I never had trouble with sand getting in these shoes! I wore them every day, all day for two weeks in wet and dry conditions and never had any problems with blisters. The feeling of mud squishing between your toes is awesome!
The shoes did smell when I got home from my trip, but after 2 trips through the washing machine, they look and smell as good as new!
As a former professional dancer, I like to go barefoot whenever possible and these shoes are the closest thing I can get to hiking barefoot! Yes, they look a little silly, but a lot of people actually tell me that they think they are cute!
