Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Leg Warmers:
Novara makes a good thermal leg warmer but it's a little short. It stays up best when you fold over the gripper strip under your shorts; then the lip cannot pass the other. However, this shortens the warmer a bit. Best to buy a size larger than indicated and then you will have the length to make it all work. I would suggest for long rides in colder conditions a pair of tights. These warmers are best for shorter rides or alternating conditions like a ride that starts in the morning when its cold but get warmer as the day progresses. All in all they are as good as any other warmer I have used.

Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Leg Warmers:
I used these for 2 weeks before returning them. Commuting in the cold and not wanting to wear full pants, I figured these would do the job. They feel great when you first put them on, and keep you warm, until you pedal and they start falling off. Then, it becomes a frustrating battle between pulling them up, pedaling, freezing, and not crashing. These are the only leg warmers I've tried, but I used them with shorts with grippers on the cuffs and they still fell down. I think I'll stick to pants and base layers rather than fuss with these. I have had better success with the knee warmers.

Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Leg Warmers:
Unless you put this under your cycling shorts, these will fall down. They do not grip tightly against your legs. They are warm however, not windproof.

Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Leg Warmers:
I have been riding 4-5 times per week and was really excited to see a good price on these to help me comfortably bike into the cooler weather. I'm a 6 foot clydesdale and figured a large would be great, but once I hiked them up high enough to stay on, they were a little short.
My first ride with them I put them on the outside of my shorts and they wouldn't stay up for more than a couple minutes. I even stopped and hiked them up almost to my groin... not very comfortable, lost some coverage on my lower leg, and while I was hiking them up I think I embarassed a gal on the trail. She said I reminded her of someone pulling up their nylons.
Second ride faired a little bit better by putting them underneath my shorts. But they still slid down, just much more slowly.
I'll try them a few more times, but have a hunch I'll have to go back to the full length pants and just deal with the overheating on those in between temperature days.
Too bad, because these were very comfortable in 40 degree weather and will probably be nice even colder.
