This is one of the best tote bags i've seen. Very sturdy, lots of pockets inside and out. Magnetic snaps on outside make it easy to open and close while traveling. Two things I'd like changed in the next version: the straps aren't long enough to put over shoulder (just need a couple of inches) and the zipper on the top. The zipper construction is such that it only opens up wide enough to slide a single item in and out. A zippered flap that provided a wider opening would be more useful (similar to the illustration for the REI Julie tote). I'd still recommend buying it - but it would be great with the two suggested changes. ([...]

This is a great-looking bag that would be absolutely perfect for carrying my laptop (in a sleeve), brick, mouse, and other necessary accessories, with enough room for some files or magazines, water bottle in either end pocket. The side pockets are handy sizes and shapes. Unlike virtually every laptop bag out there, this one is made out of stiff enough materials to maintain its shape, but isn't that ugly black cordura.

Yes, it would be absolutely perfect, and the bag itself would hold my 15.4-inch laptop perfectly - EXCEPT - the TOP ZIPPER is TOO SMALL to put the laptop into the bag that's big enough to hold the computer!! So I had to take this lovely, perfect bag back.
