Comments about Coleman Exponent Luminos Lantern:
Coleman has done it again! This lantern is the bomb! Pull it out, hit the pezo button and presto - light. I've used this lantern 20 trips and it has not failed once. Well made just like your Dad's old standby.(and cute too!) Light adjust from 1 to 10 candlewatt power - very quiet. On high it puts out enough light for everyone in the campsite to pitch their tents. On low - a very pleasant romantic glow! Easy push on mantles, that last a long time. Very rugged! I made 5 multi-day trips on one mantle. A real plus is that on a few extremely cold nights, I could quickly warm up the tents before bedtime. Quick and easy to fill - a no mess, no brainer! Only recommendation - attach a candle reflector for cooking, etc. A MUST HAVE for gram-weenies to car campers. Fuel costs have averaged - .06 cents an hour - AMAZING.

Comments about Coleman Exponent Luminos Lantern:
Oh gear, how we lust for it! The perfect lightweight lantern... High light output, low fuel consumption. Yes, this is one is nearly there.
I bought two. 1 worked flawlesly, 1 did not. In fact, I had to return it because it sprang a fuel leak (not good!) and the push on mantels kept falling off. This particular unit had some issues but I think these offer a low cost alternative to candles or battery operated lanterns. The light is not much brighter than the Exponent (triangle) lantern but it is cheaper to run. They last several hours on a full charge and are lightweight enough for minimalists who love light. Mantels are hard to find so stock up when you can. If you loved the old school coleman lantern, you'll probably like this one.

Comments about Coleman Exponent Luminos Lantern:
This lantern works great, I have used it for a few hours 3 night's in a row and it lasted that last night and did not die. The construction is durable and has never failed me. The only thing is there is no middle or low setting the power/light output seems to be the same, so I will back it down to the lowest it will go and it will put out the same light without using as much fuel, we call it the day maker and it is worth it.
