    This product combines the feel of a quality cosmetic with proven reliability of DEET. Although a single bottle is relatively expensive, each application lasts at least 8 hours even when sweating and working outdoors. In addition, the formulation blocks absorption of DEET, making it that much safer and long-lasting. I can put this product on in the morning and work off and on all day in the garden, avoiding the Asian tiger mosquito that plagues our part of Maryland.

    My 13 year old son bought this to take on a 5 day backpack trek. He had it stored in a ziplock all weekend. The last day, the ziplock was not zipped and the top popped open, leaked out of the ziplock and all over the pack, probably rendering the backpack permanently bug proof. The lotion worked great and was easy to apply.

    I would recommend a sure-locking type of top to assure that it doesn't break open on the trail.
