Sevylor® Ocean Kayak XK17 is sized especially for ocean traveling with its generous length, legroom and cargo space.

  • Crafted from durable, puncture-resistant Sevytex®, a strong polyester with a dual-laminated PVC shell built for years of faithful service
  • Twin I-beam hull design is self-bailing for whitewater use; bailing holes can be plugged for use on flat- or cold-water excursions
  • Capable of better speed than short kayaks, the XK17 can carry up to three people comfortably (with optional seat)
  • Ideal for longer trips or expeditions, it can also function as a reliable dinghy
  • Moderately rockered shape provides good performance on rough water; directional strakes aid tracking on flat water
  • Includes two padded seats with back support; water bottle holder and fanny pack pocket on seats to stow accessories
  • Remove second seat and use center seat position for solo trips; either mode allows ample stowage of gear via bow and stern D-ring tie-downs
  • Bow and stern spray decks feature rings for attaching rope handles for easy transport of kayak to and from the water
  • Removable drop-stitch floor offers comfortable support and insulation, and is built tough to withstand penetration
  • Padded footrests on floor provide paddling comfort and aid in bracing maneuvers
  • Optional thigh braces and foot-controlled tracking rudder available separately
  • Twin I-beam chambers inflate to 3 PSI; floor inflates to 7 PSI for unrivaled rigidity; includes pressure guage for verifying chamber pressure
  • Air-tight Boston valves provide reliable performance and easy inflation and deflation
  • Includes large nylon duffel for storage and transport and double-action riverboat pump for rapid inflation and deflation
