First, I've had many many complements on my chalk bag all ranging from stylish to great all around bag. Keeps chalk in wether i'm upside down or if i land on it when bouldering. It does create a little small cloud of dust but nothing that would make any differences. )we call it mini-ninja vanishing dust.) but great all around. Only problem is that i wanted the white one on the display, but all the colors i've seem are fantastic. Which has nothing to do with the bag whats so ever. so all in all its a great bag

I love this chalk bag, mostly because of how many compliments it draws (I have the cow print). The opening is plenty big for my rather sizable hands and is angled well enough to give easy access, and it holds quite a bit of chalk, though I wish it were just a little bit deeper. I find the drawstring a little tough to get 100% closed sometimes. My biggest complaint is that since it's constructed of two layers of porous material, it will make big puffs of chalk if I don't handle it gently, even if it's closed, because the chalk has worked into the outer layer of fabric. A third layer of plastic or something in between the other two layers would've been a pretty nice addition, but all told, it's a pretty minor issue. Especially if you have larger hands, this chalk bag is a great one, in terms of both form and function.

I started with top rope, gym climbing and have transitioned to bouldering. My old chalk bag had a very small mouth and made it difficult to access chalk. The evolv bag has a very wide mouth and makes it much easier to chalk up quickly while climbing. I'm a 30/32 waist so the belt fits me easily, but it could be a problem if you have a larger waist.
