Comments about GCI Outdoor Pico Telescoping Chair:
I was hesitant to purchase this chair, because of the price. But, I went ahead and purchased it when it was on sale. I liked how compactly it said it folded and the fact that their was pockets etc, for stuff.
I use this chair for Agility trials with my dogs. When we go to trials, it is sometimes for a day, so picture myself a friend and 4 dogs. 6 crates, an easy up tent, rugs for the grass, tarps, shade tarps, etc. And add on to that if it is going to be raining, cold or very hot. So, the less room stuff takes up, the better.
I also sit in the chair off and on all day long. Sometimes from 7am to 7pm. I've tried the cheap easy fold and light weight chairs you can purchase anywhere. My problem with those are my legs are always too high, and they seemed to not give much back support. I didn't find them comfortable. My previous chair was a Picnic time sports chair. I liked the table that folded up, and the pockets on the side. My issue with that chair is it didn't give any lower back support and it didn't fold up very compactly.
This chair gives me enough pockets, etc., for all of the stuff I need. And with the dip down on the back it supports my lower back. My only issue is that, that dip, gets caught in the back of my pants, but really isn't a big problem. It would be the perfect chair if it had a table. I liked the table for eating, etc. But, all in all a great chair, even if it is pricey.

Comments about GCI Outdoor Pico Telescoping Chair:
I'll never throw this one away as I have all the others. It offers great support for those folks inclined to slouch, and is bombproof. First class seating is never cheap...but worth it. Nothing can spoil an outing like not having a comfortable place to park your posterior (and spine).

Comments about GCI Outdoor Pico Telescoping Chair:
This chair is not cheap - even when you buy it on sale. I prefer more support in my camping chair. Chairs that have a seat that comes together with the back provie the best comfort. Since this chair has seperate pieces of fabric for the seat and back, the comfort is not optimal. Conversely, the feathery weight, compact portability, and ease to carry it around made this worth the cost. A chair that is so light, portable, and compact beats the pants out of lugging a heavy chair or not having one at all.

Comments about GCI Outdoor Pico Telescoping Chair:
I bought this with some hesitance after reading one of the reviews . . . I'm so glad I ignored it! I need compact chairs to fit in an off-road vehicle that has very little room for storage. Believe me, I have tried every variation of folding chair on the market, and this one has it all. It's comfortable, light, compact, and well built. It's easy to set up and feels solid. I can't praise it enough. I'm six foot and 200 plus pounds. The chair fit me no problem with room to spare. Buy it . . You won't regret it!

Comments about GCI Outdoor Pico Telescoping Chair:
People will admire the modern look, telescoping legs and fancy carry bag. On closer examination the Pico is awfully complicated which is not a good thing with outdoor gear. The bag has too many external pockets that snag on things. The chair is a regular parts bizarre. Quality control seems a bit lacking as one of our chairs was missing 2 screws and, apparently, an internal part had broken off because one leg would not work properly and rattled inside.
The chair is neither especially light nor compact compared to $30 collapsable chairs although it folds in a convenient rectangular shape for storage. If you are wearing shorts a front metal piece can touch your thigh which can be a shock. The many pockets--yes, the chair has 3 of its own to add to those on the carry bag--is both a convenience and a curse as you know you are going to pack up your glasses or something important when you break camp.

Comments about GCI Outdoor Pico Telescoping Chair:
This chair is great! We are motorcycle campers and this chair packs very small and fits my smallish wife to a "T." I just wish they had one that would fit me.
