  • Tough, double-anodized rims feature angled black and silver milling with straight-pull black spokes
  • ISM® rims and redesigned hubs optimize rigidity and weight, reducing inertia and increasing climbing power
  • A Mavic exclusive, Maxtal aluminum is 30% stronger than 6061 aluminum for lighter, livelier rims
  • FTS-X (Force Transfer System X) free wheel system is exceptionally hard-wearing and friction resistant to meet the demands of intense riding
  • Sealed cartridge bearings are removable and easily maintained; they're micro-adjustable to match various riding conditions
  • Rim joints are welded and milled to eliminate shuddering during braking and provide superior wheel balance
  • Rim's upper bridges are left undrilled, effectively increasing the wheel's rigidity and friction resistance

      I've been riding with these on my full suspension bike at least a couple of times per week for over a year with absolutely no troubles. They are very strong and stay true. I've used these with Specialized tubeless tires and it makes for a perfect combo.
      In my opinion, the only way to get something better is to spend a lot more money for a lighter wheelset.

        One of the cheaper wheelsets I have purchased, and I can honestly say it is second to none. When I know I have to have the best equipment for my race, I grab these. Equipped with the right tires, these wheels can handle almost all types of terrain and gladly welcome the challenging climbs and downhill speeds. The best wheelsets for your money. Buy them, you won't be sorry.

          I have 1200 miles on these wheels while being mounted to my Santa Cruz Superlight. I'm a 155 pound rider and 80% of my riding is on techinical sigletrack. These wheels hold up great. They have not needed to be trued once. In my opinion, they offer the best value of almost any wheel out there. Sure you can go a little lighter, but you will pay a lot more $$$. And yeah you could go even stonger, but you will have to get a much heavier wheel. Bottom line, if they are in your price range and you are on the fence, buy them. Great Value.

            My first real wheelset upgrade. They run great on my '08 Stumpie with Kenda Nevegal DTC's'. Solid yet nimble wheelset with very good response and feedback. The wheels have taken some serious hits in bumps, drops and rock gardens. Not a single problem in 8 months of usage.
