Comments about Timex Zone Trainer Heart Rate Monitor - Midsize:

My criteria in pickng a HRM was it had to fit my small wrist (6" dia), had to have a lap counter for running and easy to use. I was looking for a HRM in order to judge my fitness-I'm not a competitive athlete, but I've jogged a few races.

I thought the strap would take some time to get used to since it was a hard plastic piece. I had it under my bra band and had to play with the positioning in order it get a "read". Once it started to read, I didn't notice it stop reading. Basically once I got it placed correctly, I would always get a HR reading.
Also once I started working out, the strap didn't bother me. And this workout included running, pushups, dips, crunches, etc so I twisted my body alot and the plastic monitor felt fine.

I don't know about accuracy because I don't have anything to compare to.

I already have the small Timex Ironman Triatholon watch so I was familiar with some of the functions and how to get them to work.

I wish it had all the bells and whistles of some of the Polar HRMs, like the automatic fitness reading, computer interface, etc. But that would be in the +$400 range and the Polar also feels heavier bigger.

Overall I'm pleased with the HRM, but I've only had it a week.
