Comments about Burt's Bees Hand Salve - 3 oz.:
I rarely put this specifically on my hands, it stays greasy for a couple minutes (I don't need greasy hands). This is a great moisturizer though, I put on my feet, legs, elbows, and cuticles.
The main ingredients are almond oil, olive oil and beeswax, just like Dr. Burt's Res-Q Ointment, so I use it on burns (including rug burns), scrapes, scratches (cat) and mosquito bites.
It's also a decent facial moisturizer (before bed, not for in public) and lip balm. And if you've got a lot of fly-aways you CAN use it to make your hair behave; I've used it to add a little texture to my hair before.
It's also surprisingly big, 3 oz doesn't sound like much, but I would assume the tin is about the size of a hockey puck, if not slightly larger, and the actual salve should last you months with very heavy use.
The only cons are the smell and the fact that it melts; it does have a strong rosemary smell (that I personally like: smells clean) that will fade after a few hours, and it will melt if left in the car for a few hours during summer.
