This all-purpose recreational and light touring paddle has a superlight carbon shaft and durable resin blades for superb performance.

  • Carbon fiber shaft is very light, stays warm in your hands on cold days or with cold water, and offers a bit of flex for paddling comfort
  • Small diameter paddle shaft lessens fatigue and improves comfort and control for paddlers with small hands
  • ABX resin blade material, a blend of fiberglass reinforced thermoplastics, provides excellent durability when pushing off rocks or barnacles
  • Asymmetrical dihedral blade shape provides a flutter-free stroke with superior directional control
  • Precision balanced, so you can feel the performance in your hands
  • Turn Lock Coupler (TLC) ferrule system makes adjusting your paddle easy; simply set the feather angle and rotate the coupler to tighten
  • Feathering is adjustable in the following increments: 0/30/45/60 degrees (right or left)
  • Comes with rubber drip rings to keep water away from hands and lap
  • Two-piece design breaks down for easy storage or transport

This is my first paddle that I actually bought . Yes, it is a little expensive for my first paddle! Instead of buying two [$] paddles, why not buy one [$] paddle that only weights 31.5 oz. I have had the opportunity to try those [$] paddles and they do start to wear on you after several hours. I can paddle all day with this one. It remains very stable on every stroke.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
