Comments about Inova 4.6-Watt LED Flashlight:
I am a professional firefighter, and I wanted a durable, bright handlight that didn't cost a fortune, and that had decent battery life for use when on duty. Saw this light at a REI store, and was impressed enough with it, that I bought one. It's my everyday work flashlight. It gets many, many hours of use on a set of batteries (as opposed to the 1 hour life of popular halogen lights), and it is VERY bright. It throws a nice, tight center beam with enough "spill over" to light up a wide area up close. The beam rivals higher wattage conventional lights. Plus, it's sturdy enough to put up a pretty good amount of abuse.

Comments about Inova 4.6-Watt LED Flashlight:
I am partially sighted and have NO night vision. I have a collection of flashlights you wouldn't believe! This is the first small flashlight I've found that is bright enough for me to get around by myself in the dark, and boy is that saying a lot!
No, it doesn't have a strap, and it is turned on by twisting the back end of the flashlight. If you twist it halfway, you can also depress a button in lieu of twisting the end. It uses lithium batteries which are more expensive.
Our car broke down on the highway the other night in the pitch black. I pulled this compact flashlight out of my purse and we were able to easily see to make the necessary repair.
I navigate by myself at night now, which is the best recommendation I can give.

Comments about Inova 4.6-Watt LED Flashlight:
This is a very highly robust and powerful light but suffers significant drawbacks. The first is I would have expected to be able to change the beam focus on a light of this power, you can’t. The second is there is no place to attach a carrying strap. The last two relate to the “tactical button" on the bottom: it requires that you either need to use both hands to operate it or you can use one hand but at the cost of precise pointing. Finally, this button is easily pressed and I have twice inadvertently illuminated my pack from the inside! If you want a basic, robust, powerful flashlight and can live with its drawbacks then this is a great product.

I was looking for the "Made in USA" flashlight and Inova was the only brand that was Made in USA that [...] carried so I bought it. I was very pleased with product so I am going to buy another Inova brand but 5.8 Watt. I used it for camping trip in Grand Canyon, which was well organized by [...], and it was so bright compared to other camper's flashlights.

Comments about Inova 4.6-Watt LED Flashlight:
This is a great light. Robust, well sealed (two O-rings on battery cap). Ultra bright, lithium batteries have 10-year shelf life. No lanyard? Make your own, tie it around the neck. Simple battery cap/switch is rugged, simple. No beam focus? I don't change the focus in my Maglights, so I see no need, this beam is just fine. This is a high-tech companion to my very rugged Princeton Tec Impact XL LED lights, which are also great. Glad I got this.
