    I use this camelbak for a 2000 mile bike tour through the desert and I love it. Lots of pocket space to hold any small items I may need durring the day instead of digging into my panniers. I use it as a more convenient purse than the traditional kind because its handsfree and fits wonderfully on my back. Holds the perfect amount if Water for me and doesn't give the water a plastics taste. Plus it is simply beautiful looking. The detachable waist straps is a wonderfull idea. I have detached the straps to strap somthing extra to my rack. My only issue is that the valve is always falling into the dirt or on the ground when I take it off and it leaks sometimes.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Such a versatile hydration pack. It has plenty of room, I was even able to fit a change of clothes by using the straps for a bike ride. Very comfortable and I can't get over how much space there is. There is a nice pocket for an iPod of mp3 player too. Only issue has been the valve leaking every once and a while, otherwise a great hydration pack that I intend on using for a long time to come.

      What a great product. Very comfortable with secure straps. Water flow isn't really fast, but still great. Not a whole lot of space for storage, but just enough for a couple granola bars, a camera, and keys. Perfect for a day hike or bike ride.

      I really like reflective items for safety. I hope they will include a nozzle cover. If it may be re-engineered to make it easier to use as a purse that one may regularly reach into without having to take it off, or dangle (heavy water bag) from one arm & having only one hand left to open it and manipulate contents. Maybe a hip-mounted Camel Back. [...]don't choose items that use tricot (stretchy, knit lining or backing) on areas that may be exposed to snagging. I hope Camel Back designs this item better.

      I use this cruising on the bike. Lots of storage pockets for all the girl stuff. Outer straps allow easy addition of a rain jacket, fleece. Makes it easy to carry everything you need on a long ride.
