This Tectron® spray treatment deodorizes and refreshes boots and shoes to leave them smelling fresh and clean.

Odor-controlling formula is also effective on backpacks, sleeping bags or any gear where moisture and perspiration persist
Just spray directly into footwear or gear and allow to air dry
Use regularly as needed; do not use on outside of shoes

This product is great. On a trip through Thailand, it was able to keep my hiking boots odor free.

The only downside is the 4oz size isn't carry on friendly.

After 3 days of hiking in the rain and crossing several rushing creeks; My boots didn't smell so hot. They had to ride in the back of the truck on the way home and I was worried that I would be able to save them. With Tectron Spray Deodorizer, just a few sprays and the smell went away.

Warning! This product has a strong fake pine smell. This is not written anywhere on the label of the product. If you don't want your equipment to smell strongly of pine-sol, don't buy this. I was disappointed. I gave this a try on my hiking boot inserts first and it definitely did not remove odor. It just seemed to mask it. I had to wash my inserts twice to remove the fake pine odor and the inserts (even after washing twice) still have smell associated with use. I am returning this product and trying something else.
