Comments about Kelty Teton 4 Tent:
Solid tent even in heavy winds. Holds up to demands of camping/backpacking with kids. Split the weight and the load is managable for the price.

Comments about Kelty Teton 4 Tent:
Compared to either hauling a 21 lb family tent or squeezing into a single man tent, this tent is a dream. Not exactly ultra light but its not 400 bucks either.
It was fast and easy to setup. As another reviewer stated, if you share the burden of hauling the tent then the weight is not an issue.

Comments about Kelty Teton 4 Tent:
When looking for tent, I was considering price and quality. I bought this tent for under 200.00 including the foot print. When I got the tent, my initial reaction was the weight. This tent is pretty light and can almost be used for back packing if the load is shared with others. I did not have the time to pre-set the tent at home, so the first time I set the tent was at night under moderate rain. I was able to set it up with ease. The only issue encounter was a very very small leak on the bottom seam (Approx. 15 drops) and upon attaching the tent clips to the aluminum poles I accidently broke a small portion of the plastic clip. The clips have to be twisted a certain wasy to attached and remove. Overall, I am satisfied with the tent.

Comments about Kelty Teton 4 Tent:
Just got back from my first three day trip with this tent. It only takes 5 minutes for one person to set this tent up. On the first night of this trip we faced 4 severe thunderstorms with torrential downpours and didn't get a drop inside. Properly placed guy lines, along with the external frame, make for a very well ventilated tent with the rain fly on. I would recommend picking up some new, longer guy lines, as the included ones are non-reflective and a bit short for an easy hitch tie. Fit myself and my wife, 6 year old son, and 100 lbs golden retriever, with light gear, very comfortably. Only complaint: the only gear pockets (2) are on the sides towards the front, making for difficult midnight access. Would be better if the gear pockets were towards the back. Ceiling hung gear net is nice compromise, but that gets in the way of the night time view.

Comments about Kelty Teton 4 Tent:
Setup was a breeze - took all of 3 minutes. Construction quality is top notch. Material is lightweight and strong. Plenty of room for 3 plus all of your gear inside. The fly leaves a perfect place to leave muddy hiking boots outside but protected from the elements.
Get the footprint for the tent. It keeps things clean and dry.

Comments about Kelty Teton 4 Tent:
I asked for this tent as a birthday present about a year ago. So far it's been on a couple trips (one very stormy one in the Boundary Waters) and it's held up nicely. It's pretty quick to set up and divided up between two of us, the weight was barely noticeable. The rain fly did a great job against bad weather. Overall, good sturdy tent, nothing too flashy.
