Comments about Lowa Tibet GTX Hiking Boots - Men's:
I purchased these boots in early August for a trip in September. Due to time constraints I didn't get to give them the proper break in that I normally would; I only wore them once for a couple mile hike before the actual trip. The first day of the trip I covered 15 miles in them with a 60+ lb. pack on my back and never had any issues. I put in over 75 miles in them over the course of the trip and never had a single blister. Over half of these miles were off trail and they proved to be extremely durable. The rubber guard around the entire boot was one of the reasons I purchased them and it held true to its purpose. I also wore these thru streams and across dewy alpine meadows and never had any leaks. One of the best things is how well they breathed. My partners couldn't believe how the moisture was literally evaporating thru the boots. Needless to say while we were faced with temps in the low 80s my feet felt comfortable and stayed reasonably cool. I would recommend this boot without reservation. They are ready for the next trip and look almost brand new.
