We mingled functionality with ecoSensitive™ materials when constructing the sturdy REI Slickrock pants for all-season comfort.

  • Plated fabric blends the soft, breathable elements of organic cotton on the outside with smooth and quick-drying recycled polyester on the inside
  • Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic pesticides
  • Use of recycled PET polyester helps reduce oil consumption and air emissions
  • Plenty of storage in 2 front pockets, right hip key pocket, 2 cargo pockets with mesh sides and 2 back pockets
  • Cargo and back pockets have rip-and-stick flap closures for security; right cargo pocket features an internal pocket for your cell phone

      These are incredible pants. Sure, they're expensive, but they seem to last forever (mine look just like new after several cycles through a washing machine at work that turned my t-shirts into rags), they have pockets everywhere for your tools and equipment (and I didn't poke a hole in the pockets even with a sharpened trowel), and they're environmentally friendly. Good stuff!

            I have three pair of these pants and haven't found a better all around pant, BUT, the buttons need help. All of my buttons have fallen off after a short period of time. To handle the wear and tear I give them they need the button to be riveted not sewn on!

              These pants are very comfortable and lightweight. I can use them on a hike or at the office because they look great. Soft material makes these a pleasure to wear. Only thing that has happened is the back pocket for my wallet has gotten a hole due to the corner of my wallet rubbing on it. To be far, I wear them a lot, I even got a second pair and am looking to get the short as well. With the eco-sensitive material, you feel good about wearing them; I recommend it for sure.

              I'd like to see these made out of the same canvas-like cotton that the Granite pants are made out of. That would garner 5 stars. Instead, they are a bit too light weight to trust to hiking through brush or bouldering. The number of usable pockets and their placement is good though.
