- Quick-drying Supplex® nylon is soft, lightweight, durable and wrinkle-resistant
- Fabric provides UPF 50+ sun protection, shielding skin from harmful ultraviolet rays
- Hand pockets with key/coin pocket; two cargo and back pockets with rip-and-stick closures
- Left cargo pocket has separate cell phone pocket for convenience; right cargo pocket has a zippered closure for extra security
- Both cargo pockets have grommet holes for drainage
- Elastic waist with built-in nylon webbing belt for a secure fit
- Gusseted crotch facilitates freedom of movement for increased comfort

These are the best fitting backpacking/hiking pants I have ever owned! I am 6'6" so it is VERY difficult to find pants that actually reach my sock line. When the pants legs are zipped off, the shorts even reach my knees! If you ate your spinach when you were a kid, these are the pants for you! They are also very lightweight and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great product. Have been searching all over the internet to find convertible pants that will fit a 6'8" frame. So far I have found REI and one other that make extended sizes for tall people. These pants fit great and whats better is that they still look like shorts on me when I zip off the bottoms. The inseam in the shorts is much longer than I anticipated which is good bc I prefer longer shorts. Go and get these pants !

Used for a November Ben Lomand peak hike, Caught last warm day of Nov, Zipped off bottoms after getting warm hiking. Easy to remove, small & light to shove in pack side pocket. Cool & windy on top, zipped back on easy. Kept cold wind off amazingly well. Wet from Sweat dried real Quick. First zip off pants I ever zipped off. Used mountain biking loved em. Used under waders Fly fishing perfect. Now I just bought another pair so I can wear them everywhere. And drive my wife insane !!

These are really great pants. Some people have complained about quality but I own 2 pairs and have not had any issues out of either pair. Actually I am going to order another (3rd) pair. The only issue I have is with the elastic waistband. I normal non-elastic waist would be better. Sometimes a big pack can push the the pants down a bit. Also a non-elastic wait would go with more types of shirts. I am 6'6" and these pants fit great. Finally convertable pants for tall hikers.

These pants are great! They are long enough and skinny enough for my lanky legs (My pant size is 36L 35W). I got medium, which stretches just a little around my waist for a snug fit. I was hiking through knee high snow banks in the California Mounatins (It was 60 degrees out) and my legs were plenty warm and dry. Not even the cuffs of the pants were wet after a couple minutes out of the snow!

As a tall women it's hard for me to find anything in 36" inseam. I love these and have purchased several pair now. love the light weight fabric, love the pockets, love how they convert to shorts - with the zipper in the legs you don't have to take off your boots to pull off the lower half of the pants. lots of thought went into the design.
I wore them several days on a trip to devils tower and they were my preferred shorts/slacks. I washed them out and hung them up and they dried overnight.
I would like to see more colors, and would like to see a nylon/cotton blend fabric as the nylon alone makes a swishing sound while you're walking. when driving the pockets are a bit difficult to get to, but the inconvenience is minor.

These pants fit great and I loved the combination of features (zip-off legs, pockets, etc.) when I bought them. Unfortunately after a few weeks I started to have problems with some of the zippers, and finally one of them completely jammed. I had to destroy the pants to get my wallet out of the pocket with the jammed zipper.
