    I have had mine for 14 years. Style has changed a little, but one thing has remained the same and that is THESE PANTS KEEP YOU DRY. I have worn them in the rainforest, and I have worn them skiing. I never go to sporting events without them. Several times I have been at Chicago Bears games in the cold, wet, and snow and people have commented how the water just runs off perfectly. When I tell them how old they are their jaws drop. Extremely durable! I just bought a new REI rain jacket, but could not justify new pants when these are still perfect. Shopping is easy because I know I can trust the REI brand name. I will be loyal to the REI brand for life.
