Bought three of these to put on my touring/commuter. The looked good, and worked great most of the time, but after 2 years, the metal failed on the one I used most.
Also, before this happened, if I was riding in jeans, and didn't have a water bottle in the cage, the cuff occasionally got caught on grippy part.

I'll most likely replace it with one the same, as I don't like plastic or carbon fibre, but not thrilled with it.

I bought two of these cages for my new commuting bike during the first week of January. I only ever really used one of them, as I generally carry only one water bottle on my commute. The non-used cage (on the seat tube)developed a crack on the rail along the section that's attached to the mount, which eventually snapped completely by the end of January. It's now two weeks into February and the other, often used bottle cage has developed the exact same crack. Neither lasted more than six weeks under normal commuting loads.

These are great cages and I now have them on two different bikes. You won't find a nicer cage for the money. They work as well as cages costing twice as much or more.

These cages are a great value. Compared to cages that cost 2, 3 or 5X more, they work just as well and weigh about the same. They won't rust since their are stainless and look nice. I've got them on three bikes now.[...] I've had mine for probably 5 years with no problems.

I have had this cage for maybe 6 months total and let me just get this out before you read any farther: it is a piece. Do Not Buy this!!! the material is already cracked and bending and i lose my bottle at least 1 out of every 5 bumps i go over or hit. any little crack or pavement imperfection and the bottle goes flying. Save yourself the [...] and buy anything else... just a friendly warning
