Comments about Garmin Windshield Mounting Bracket with Suction Cup Mount for eTrex series GPS:
I use my Garmin Extrex for Geocaching and locating gravesites( especially the flat stones) for geneolgy. I also check to see if their are cords to places I am going to a distance away.
The only problem I have have with this unit is getting the G.P.S. to release easily. Once this is attached to the windshield, With the slant of the windshield their is not much room behind it to release the G.P.S. unit to take it out of the vehicle to continue on to the cache or Grave site. I have found that I must just place my G.P.S. unit into this Holders slots without locking it down in order to be able to get it out easily. It works out well in this instance.
I Have recommeded this to other etrex users but told them of the lock down problem on the slanted windshields. Maybe the lever That releases it could be a little longer. Thank You for your time.

Comments about Garmin Windshield Mounting Bracket with Suction Cup Mount for eTrex series GPS:
This unit is very stable and stays on the windshield. The suction mount is easy to mount and remove while being very strong with reliable hold. The only con is a small one: the bracket will not accept x (expandable memory units) without the special adapter found in the box that comes with your original GPS unit. Do not discard this adapter!

Comments about Garmin Windshield Mounting Bracket with Suction Cup Mount for eTrex series GPS:
This mount lets me snap my Garmin and go. No GPS unit sliding around the dashboard. No GPS flying out an open window when you're turning a sharp corner. NO! I just suction cup it onto my other Garmin (Auto GPS) suction plate and I'm off to the next geocache! I can concentrate on driving and not on where my Garmin has slid to. It may look like a flimsy piece of plastic, but it holds up well, even with my rough handling of it.
