    Comments about New River Gorge Meadow River and Summersvill Lake Rock Climbers' Guidebook - 3rd Edition:

    The approaches in this book are pretty vague. Almost everyone I know that uses this book gets lost the first time they approach any of the crags. In addition, there is a surprising amount of incorrect information in the book including a 2 star route that is incorrectly marked as a sport climb even though there are no bolts! If you're not in a hurry, Mike Williams, at New River Mountain Guides, is writing a guidebook that should be published in the fall of 2009. I met Mike at the Crack Climbing Clinic at the Rendezvous two weeks ago and he definitely knows the New inside and out. I will definitely replace this book with his immediately when it comes out.
