Comments about Cat Eye TL-LD270 Front Bike Light:

I use this light on my commuter fixie. It is a great light, small and inconspicuous. It fits right under my my handlebars and its hard to tell its even there during the day so I don't have to take it off. If I do take it off though its super easy to do even with gloved hands. I only use it so that other cars or people can see me. Only problem is it doesn't provide much illumination of the road, which could be fixed If the light had some reflective material behind the LED which would increase the luminosity.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Comments about Cat Eye TL-LD270 Front Bike Light:

      This is NOT a headlight, and it's not practical to think/use it in this way. It is a warning light, just like the tail light. Yes, it has a steady light function, but it is a meager way to illuminate the road ahead. It is strictly a good light to alert on-coming traffic that you are coming (or to use as a hand-held flashlight for close illumination). Again, it is NOT a headlight, so don't try to put it in that product application.
