Comments about Qwaruba Melissa Slides - Women's:
I have always been a huge fan of Acorn slippers, but I'm officially hooked on the Qwaruba slippers.
I bought these after Christmas last year as I wanted a nice slipper, but something that I was reasonably priced.
They are comfy, warm, and have a nice sole. The sole is important for me. I work from home and my slippers really double as my "indoor" shoes. I like a sole to offer some cushion, but not too stiff.
Also, I don't know if it's recommended, but I threw them into the washing machine when they got dirty and they came out just fine.
I also appreciated that Qwaruba donates much of their profits to charity. Made me feel good about my purchase.
I have worn mine so much, that they are beginning to wear through on the insides. I love them!

Comments about Qwaruba Melissa Slides - Women's:
I had tried several of the well-known, pricier Australian brands in this style of slipper, but found them too tight across the instep. When I tested these Qwaruba's at REI, I knew I had found my ideal pair. (And I was able to use my 20% coupon to make it an even better deal!)
They are snug enough to stay on my foot while walking and climbing stairs yet not constricting at all. The super-soft sheepskin is awesome - warm, but not hot. And the sole is flexible (not squishy!) and comfortably supportive for our cold tile floors. The treads also are nice in case I need to run outside to get the mail or the paper. Highly recommended.
