Comments about Seirus Hyperlite All-Weather Gloves - Men's:

These gloves are great. I'm a paraplegic and always looking for a good pair of light, warm, windproof gloves. I've found the perfect pair in these. They keep my hands toasty in tempatures down to 20 degree's. They are so thin that I can keep them on while doing normal things.

Others complained of them not being waterproof. For light wetness(drizzle) they stay dry, if they get soaked they get wet on the inside. If you read it says the fabric is waterproof but the seams aren't sealed. Meaning that water will comes through the seals.

I'm on my second pair and would recommend them to anyone needing a light, thin and warm pair of gloves that will keep the wind out.

Get the EXTREME weather Seirus gloves that are a little thicker and have sealed seams if you want waterproof.

The package claims "waterproof". They are not waterproof even in a light rain. I tried adding spray-on waterproofing and they still do not keep any water out. Glove-company misrepresented product.

Comments about Seirus Hyperlite All-Weather Gloves - Men's:

what everyone should realize that there are very few gloves that are actually 100% waterproof. even seam sealed gloves can leak water through the membrane if exposed long enough. Also, any glove that has a wind/water blocking membrane will not dry fast and are not nearly as breathable as most liner gloves.

with that being said, these are very nice gloves. they are warm, very grippy, and very light (1.9 oz for a pair of larges). they are also thin enough to let me tie my shoes and grab zippers easily. they block the wind very well and will block water 100x better than any other glove liner that I've seen under 2 oz. if you are going skiing, hiking, or doing something that doesn't involve sticking your hands into puddles or walking through a monsoon, these will keep your hands warm and dry.

Comments about Seirus Hyperlite All-Weather Gloves - Men's:

Mild weather use only. Will not hold up to normal use as printed on the packaging. I used them as water proof liner in thinselate over gloves. Once the over gloves got wet the liners allow the water through. And they did not dry overnight. When I returned them they were still wet.

I use these gloves all the time. On the really cold Chicago days they are great liners to the mittens I have. As a photographer, when I have a shoot outdoors in the winter these gloves keep my hands warm and dry while allowing me to operate my cameras as if I had no gloves on at all.

Comments about Seirus Hyperlite All-Weather Gloves - Men's:

These gloves are lightweight, comfortable and warm in mild temperatures. I've warn them on several trip both as liners and stand-alone up to the summit of Mt. Lassen and on snowshoeing, snow camping and cross-country skiing trips. They definitely have some water resistance but if you are using them in the actual snow they will get wet after a while although they dry relatively quickly. Their biggest drawback I've found is their durability. After my third or fourth outing with them some of the fingertips were already starting to wear through to the next layer. If you are planning on wearing them only as liners they are probably a good choice but they are not great for stand-alone use as advertised.

Comments about Seirus Hyperlite All-Weather Gloves - Men's:

I bought a pair of these just before deploying to Iraq. They're great in anything from warm to mildly cold weather. They fit very snugly and are quite thin, so you retain all the mobility you'd have without gloves. They helped protect my hands from extremely hot items that had been out in the Iraqi sun for hours as well as getting me through the cooler winter nights. Recently I've been using them back in the states as PT gloves and they're absolutely perfect. They're warm enough to keep your hands warm on cooler days but light enough so that you won't be sweating heavily on long runs.

Solid pair of gloves that serve dual purpose perfectly. I use them alone on cooler days and during runs all around windy downtown Chicago. When winter really hits, the form fitting style allows them to be great liners under my bulky gloves.

Actually fairly water resistant as well as windproof

Got wet within a minute, bled leather dye all over my hands. Had to borrow my friends cheapo mittens to keep my hands warm on a day of hiking in the snow. Just touching snow got these soaked, like a sponge. It wasn't even raining or actively snowing- total lie about the all-weather and I thought there was supposed to be truth in advertising. These aren't even "water resistant". Oh, and the clip that hooks 'em together broke instantly. Good looking garbage.
