  • 1000-denier nylon and beefy Pro-Tech microfiber uppers resist abrasion, wind and water while remaining soft and pliable in cold conditions
  • Double side-release buckle system offers a secure fit and quick entry and exit; reflective piping enhances visibility and safety in low light
  • Lined with moisture-wicking Thermatuf II polyester for managing moisture and trapping extra warmth
  • Removable, multi-component liner system ensures moisture management, soft comfort and cozy warmth down to -40°F
  • 6mm contoured EVA footbeds add comfort and moisture control
  • Breathable open-cell foam offers lightweight insulation while four-channel B-tek hollow-fiber insulation traps air to maintain constant temperature

      I had to comment on these boots. I bought them for my boyfriend a year ago and now am buying a pair for myself. We both love the aggressive tread, easy slip on style, big buckle pulls that can be retrieved even with thick gloves on, they keep his feet warm even when we sit in the snow for some time, they seem to be the best boot for the money and now I will not jealous of him when we sit by the fire and my feet are wet and freezing in the more pretty than functional woman’s boots I have. Soon my feet will also be toasty in my new Baffin Wolf boots.

        I have had these boots for about 3 years and I really like them. I use them for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Some days are well below zero and my feet keep pretty warm...with the right socks! They keep water out as well. I also use them for work...I work outside fixing water lines/drainage pipes and I really beat the heck out of them. Very durable. They do not have the best arch support, so if your feet need that I would look else where.

          I am a thirteen year employee at one of the country's top resorts. This is the first pair of Baffin boots I have purchased. I am extremely disappointed in the warmth, the fit and the comfort of the boot. They are rated to -40 but on a moderate cold day of 20 degrees my feet still get cold. The base layer appears to have no padding for sole comfort as it feels like I am walking on concrete after a couple of hours. The fit, I feel is hindered by the double strap binding that does not provide enought support or tightness in the heel. I will continue looking for a better boot.

          Love the fit, style, easy on and off, and waterproofing.

          Not so much the total lack of support and slippy treads, which look aggressive but are useless on ice and worse on wet leaves. Also, mine showed wear super fast. Just not hardcore.

          Good enough for short fall hikes and comfortable enough in winter weather, but don't they push as hard as I do. Recommended, but not for those looking for a reliable winter hiker.
