Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
Terrible quality. After a couple hundred miles the leather over the palms near the base of the fingers had completely worn and there were huge holes. Very disappointing as I've had great luck with Pearl Izumi products in the past. I would recommend finding another pair of gloves for cold weather riding.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
Used these in the rain a few days ago and my hands were completely soaked within a few minutes! I like them for cool fall weather, but they don't perform well in cold or rainy temps.

Like the first reviewer, my gloves have huge holes in the palms after a very short time. The fake leather is completely shredding. They fit well, but the palm material is worthless.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
I work on my bike five to six days a week and commuted nearly a half an hour to work everyday and found these gloves to work extremely well. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how warm they kept my hands. Even when it was snowing or raining, my fingers stayed warm. My job demands that I take my gloves off on every run and yet I found that the gloves still kept my hands warm despite the fact that they weren't consistently on.
There is a downside, though. These gloves can be cripplingly cold in two circumstances: in your first few minutes riding in freezing weather if you haven't warmed up prior to getting on your bike and if you ride at a leisurely pace. They are designed for people who keep their heart rate up which in turn will warm your hands up.
If you work on your bike or need to handle materials often these gloves are great. Other than that, I would suggest that you get waterproof lobster claws, which are restrictive but alas, very warm.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
Wish I had read the previous reviews before buying these in the store. Definitely not for keeping your hands warm in cold, damp weather. My fingers were ice during my whole 12 mile commute. Gloves fit snug & very dextrous, but the palm padding could be shifted up a bit for best effect. These gloves are probably Ok for 60deg. but 40deg w/ fog was awful.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
I ride just a couple miles most days and needed just a little something to keep the rain and chilled winds off. These work great for that. Easy to maneuver in, I can feel my house keys amongst other belongings in a bag, mess with the nozzle on my Camelbak, etc. while wearing them. Plus they're small and light so you could easily stuff them in a small pocket. I believe I have the best size for my hands (and am very happy the fingers are longer than little smokies!) but the seaming inside the gloves does press into my skin and leave marks that last for several minutes after. If your fingers are very sensitive to little ridges, you may want to avoid these. Other than that, the padding is good, nice grip, and a soft little nose wiping/sweat mopping patch on the backs of your thumbs. P.S. just to test the dexterity further on these gloves, I wore them while typing this. Not too shabby.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
I've had these gloves for one season now and they are pretty good in cold weather when it's not raining. I've worn them in temperatures between 38 degrees up to around 60 degrees. If it is raining I find that after around 30 minutes or so they tend to leak and so they make my hands cold.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Women's:
As a daily bike commuter, these gloves are pretty good for morning commutes and winter evenings. Temp range that I wear them is 55 deg F and below. Anything below about 40 deg F, I wear a cotton liner. I have not had any problems with the padding wearing off or holes anywhere. I've had them for 2 fall seasons.
