Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
The jacket shows some big signs of wears after first utilization due to the friction of my backpack (just a little camera bag). Really light and feels really confortable, but I would not use that jacket for anything else than casual outings.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
Great jacket, lightweight, warm, not quite waterprrof, but very resistant. Wouldn't wear it as a rainjacket, but will keep you dry in wet weather, and great for snow.
Only negative thing about it I have experienced so far is that the insides of the arms and outsides of the chest (where the arms and chest rub when walking) are starting to wear.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
Very durable jacket, resists abrasion on rough stone during multi-pitch alpine climbs. I usually wear a size Large (L), but had to send it back and get a size X-tra large (XL) because I felt the torso length was a bit too short and I also wanted to wear this in winter with a heavy fleece jacket beneath. This jacket isn't really warm and not intended for winter use, but I have summited 13k peaks with it in December by using a fleece jacket beneath.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
This is a good all around jacket. I bought mine in October and have been very happy. I've worn it winds and heavy rain and have yet to be dissapointed.
It's a little strange. With a lite fleace I've worn the syncro in the snow storms we had last month Hiking in the woods I did not get cold or wet. Not did I get over heated. I also wore it at the top of the mountain on maui. even going from 80 to 30 degrees int an hour I stayed warm with just the syncro and a sweat shirt.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
I used this item for 14 days in Norway during December of 2008. Average temperature was 32F and the only other insulation was a cotton t-shirt and overshirt. Completely warm! No bulk at all for air travellers and easy to stow and maintain. As comfortable in mild weather as well.
This item is extremely versatile and worth the cash. Highly recommended.

This has been a great Spring/Fall jacket and can even get you through a cold winter day with a couple of layers underneath. Kept me dry on a rainy trip to Ireland this Fall.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
I own a lot of Mountain Hardwear clothing and for good reason. There stuff is durable and does the job it's supposed to do. I originally bought this jacket for as a lightweight, breatheable and waterproof shell, for a recent trip to Central Europe. Combined with layering, I was warm the entire time and never wet. The jacket performed great with water beading up on the surface but never penetrating. I love that the zippers are seam welded...my camera was kept nice and dry. Now I'm looking forward to using this as my outer shell for downhill skiing and snoeshowing this winter.
Buy this jacket! You won't be disappointed!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
i bought this jacket after 2 failures with the REI brand. Sorry guys, love the store but not the jackets. The first one failed in waterproofness, the second the stitches started falling out. I got the synchro instead. i love this jacket. it is like wearing a light fleece. it is waterproof and great to wear. this could be my new favorite jacket.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
I've owned Arcteryx (most expensive brand in the world, big waste of money), North Face, Marmot, REI, Columbia and many others, but Mountain Hardwear is by far the highest quality clothing company I've had the pleasure of wearing. This is my second jacket by them and it doesn't disappoint. I'm 5'7", 148 lbs., athletic build and a SMALL fit as if the jacket was custom made for me. Very high quality materials. You notice as soon as you put it on the first time. Blocks the wind and water very well. The zippers are like nothing I've ever seen, very water tight. It's as if a team of NASA scientists made the perfect jacket. Great by itself for above freezing weather. Layer underneath for when it gets really cold. I think everyone should have the Syncro in their collection.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Men's:
I bought this jacket not only for a great outer layer when its raining and windy, but also to layer my Monkey Man with. It has been great so far; when layering I get the warmth of the Monkey Man and the defense from the elements of the Synchro. Mountain Hardware always makes great products, and this one is no different.
