I liked the short sleeve version so much that I bought the long sleeve too. The sleeves length seemed a bit long but this could be my arms. I think that having knit elastic cuffs would alleviate this shortcoming. This shirt is soft and wicks away moisture beautifully. It's like putting on your favorite broken-in T-shirt from the first time that you wear it.

I wear this as a base layer in the winter instead of a long sleeve cotton tee. This layer wicks out the sweat if I work one up. It also keeps me warm when it gets chilly inside.
The fabric is so soft right away, it is like having a favorite old shirt right off of the hanger at the store.

I have two of these shirts and they get softer with washing. Very lightweight and breathable; easy to pack and don't hold wrinkles so you can really roll them tight. The shirt dries fairly quickly and hasn't faded with all the washing. Another nice feature is where the shoulder seams are, they are forward so not to create a pressure point when wearing a backpack.

This shirt is freaking great... I find all REI clothes are sized a bit smaller than most other brands but an XL "fits" perfect. Where a large is usually just a tad too small and an XL is usually too big for me. I only wish they had a few more colors to choose from. Only the green goes with all the brown, tan, etc. colored pants sold here. A black, Dark brown or Tan, and maybe a maroon would be nice.

This is my favorite "base" type layer. I work in healthcare and this is perfect under a pair of scrubs. Have used it hiking in the fall as well, keeps you dry and warm. I bought the white color a couple of years ago now they haven't carried white since,why not? Start carrying white and i'll buy more.
