      These tights are warm, soft, and wind resistant. The construction is quite good, as is the fit. I use these as a single layer or as a second layer for nastier conditions and they work GREAT! I use them for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. After over six years of pretty hard use my old pair of power stretch tights are just starting to show some wear in a couple of places. These look like they will wear equally well. I've noticed that the new material seems to be much more wind resistant and softer than my older power stretch tights. Kudos for making a "short" version of these great tights.

        They are WARM!! I run in them during the Minnesota winters which can be brutal for runners. Have not found a set of tights which combine the breatheability, warmth and comfort that these tights provide. Have 2 pair and soon to add more to the running wardrobe. Can wear with or without an underlayer depending on temperature.

          The fuzzy interior is very comfortable and warm. The smooth outer face makes these pants easy to layer with. For snowshoeing or cool weather activity - I recommend the winter stretch with these underneath. Warm and cost effective.
