    I purchased this online but decided to return it almost immediately. It was not very bright at all and the beam was not very focused. It was a little on the large size for such a low amount of output.

    Maybe mine was broken but the light also shone through the blue casing. Worked great for a nite light when facing the light down on a table but also shined up into my face while walking, making it harder to see. I found I had to block that light.

      Bulb burnt out after just a year of very casual use. No way of changing it that I can find so it is now yet another piece of junk that will go to a landfill. Very disappointed as I thought I was making an environmental choice. It was a great flashlight while it lasted.

        When this kind of technology is available, why are we still using disposable batteries? I love the 60x light yield (1 minute worth of cranking gives you 60 minutes worth of light). This is a great product, I highly recommend it.

        This is a pretty good product. The crank s nice since the flashlight can be charged using clockwise and counter clockwise turns. The crank is also pretty durable, and I have dropped this flashlight more than a couple of times on dirt and rocks, and it is still going strong.
