  • Drawstring shockcord with toggle lock securely cinches around pack for a snug fit
  • Zippered nylon storage pouch doubles as an accessory pocket; vertical strap for easy securing or belt clip for quick horizontal attachment
  • Cover has bottom drain hole for release of trapped moisture

      This is great for keeping your pack dry. I used it for my extended trip to Peru as a general cover from the elements and to keep the backpacks straps contained during travel. It saved my pack from rips and bad substances like grease. You can always wash or get another ducks back at this price rather than ruin your pack which probably will be much more expensive.

      This pack cover has saved me and my stuff from a pouring northern rain. My pack had knowhere to go so it got rained on for a while. Even though the back sinch doesnt close all the way, my stuff stayed dry.

        My husband and I decided to try the REI Duck's Back Rain Cover for our family's 5 day backpack trip into Colorado's San Juan Mountains. It rained and/or hailed every day and our gear stayed dry. Some days we had camp already set up when the storms rolled in so just covered our packs, flipped them over and hunkered in the tent. Other days we were caught in the storms and we had to hike through it. We covered ourselves and we covered our packs. Our gear was drier than we were. The only thing I struggled with was the draw cord. It seems very long and very stretchy. We did but the covers big though so that might be my fault.

        Works fine on a 4000+ ci Mountainsmith pack. Kept everything dry and clean. Easy to throw on. A little bit bulky, but not enough to worry about for the price.
