Comments about The North Face Oso Hoodie - Women's:
This jacket is so soft outside AND inside that I bought my daughter one too. However, having bought the white, it required washing. After about 3-4 washes, it became matted and no longer had the same rabbit fur feel. Still keeps me warm when necessary and have bought other styles of same material since, but try not to wash it if you don't have to. Don't expect it to last more than two years, depending on how much you wash it. Regular fleece jackets begin to ball anyway. This "fur" jacket is fantastic while it lasts.

Comments about The North Face Oso Hoodie - Women's:
This is a very good everyday jacket. I wear it to class at the UW almost every day, and I've had it for almost two years now. It's excellent for most Seattle weather. The hood and the water-resistant panels on the shoulder make it fine for light drizzle, but I wouldn't wear it in a downpour or a snowstorm. My favorite feature is how roomy the hood is because it still covers my forehead if I have my hair in a ponytail or bun.
The only downside is that the hi-loft fleece gets matted down pretty easily, especially from the seatbelt in the car (I don't even ride in a car very often). Once it gets a little matted, it doesn't really come back up, even if you wash it. It also tends to shed on the seatbelt, so you get little fuzzies on you the next time you ride in the car.
However, I consider this a minor downside since the jacket overall is extremely versatile, and extremely comfortable, and surprisingly warm.

I wore this once, it shed over the seatbelt, my purse, my North face parka which I bought it for. It was a surprise for an expensive jacket. I felt like a very fuzzy dog that was leaving fuzzies everywhere.

Everyone is right on with this jacket, my friend had one and i hugged her to say hello and couldnt let go, you literally become a furry teddy bear when you put this on. I would say it fits true to size but if you have hips i would order up, it's def. slim fitting thru the hips (which all NF stuff is.)

I just bought this jacket and I was amazed by how warm it is relative to its weight. The jacket has a very nice hood, big pockets, and it's made out of very soft material. I would recommend this jacket for casual and city use, but not for backpacking, because I'm afraid the material might wear out quickly from the backpack. This jacket is also way "too nice" for backpacking. Overall, I really like this multipurpose hoodie for its looks and warmth.

I cannot tell you how much I love this jacket. It is the softest non-fur jacket you will ever own. People often want to pet me it is so soft. I own 2 and both are in white (one from '07 and one from '08 season)! One got dyed gray in the wash and I had to replace it because I could not bear to live without my favorite jacket. The 2007 version was an antique white color while the 2008 version is a bright white color. It’s meant to be fashionable, not rugged for outdoor activities. It’s very light, thin and surprisingly very warm. I wore it in Holland during the wintertime and was fine. It’s cropped short and is fitted in the torso. I like the hood and zipping pockets. It does shed a little, but nothing a lint brush can’t pick up.

this hoody is, as everyone has already said, so amazingly soft. I get pet all the time by friends. I got it to have a warm, stylish zip up hoody for general use and it definitely fits the bill perfectly. haven't had any rain yet in the two days since i bought it, but the shoulders have the typical north face water proof patches, but i worry it may get a bit matted. other than that though, its pretty much amazing.

I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are just too short. I probably should have bought a size larger, but didn't notice when I was trying on. And then the body would have been too big. It is so very cuddly, soft and warm. It does leave lint on your undershirt so you can't really take it off when you are out and about. I got last year's and its a green, so shows up on everything. I just wear it like a sweatshirt.

This jacket is good for just around town. Its really nice and warm but I think I got a size too big so the arms are too long and it creates big ripples that do not look good. This jacket also gets little fuzzies everywhere, especially on seatbelts and other clothes you wear with it. I dont like it as much as I did before. At first you will be amazed at how soft it is but that doesnt really matter to me anymore. I picked it out for Christmas last year
