    Details at the deepest level are absolutely great. Program is very easy to work with and print out on the Nat Geo paper. Will not work on other GPS platforms except the Magellan.ABSOLUTELY ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM NAT GEO WHEN DEALING WITH SOFTWARE PROBLEMS! NAT GEO's "customer support" function is NOT! [...]

      I bought this program to download topo maps to my Garmin GPS and plan hiking and backpacking trips. The biggest problem is that the topo maps can only be downloaded to Magellan GPS units. Secondly, when viewing the maps on the computer there are no landmarks (i.e. trails, campgrounds, ranger stations etc.)I love the national geographic paper maps because they have all of the landmarks. There is a function to look up lat and long of landmarks but you have to know the name and then find the place. The other positive is that it is easy to install and run.
