Comments about Petzl Poche Tikka:
My wife bought this for me. She thought I would like putting it on my belt during my many excursions. Truth is, I don't carry it around with me during daylight. And at night, I either put my headlamp on my head or in my pants pocket. When I sleep, it's within grabbing distance of my bag, typically in a tent pocket.
I guess I thought I would like having a place to store my light. Truth is, I think it's just something unnecessary I end up lugging around.

Comments about Petzl Poche Tikka:
In my experience, packing, organizing and being able to easily find my gear is important.
Whether in a day pack or a back pack, I want to be able to find exactly what I need, when I need it. I also need my gear to be protected during transport. Self-contained 'kits' are an important part of my packing and organizaation strategy.
I use this case to protect my Tikka Plus from damage or from accidentally being turned on in my pack. Because this compact case also has exactly enough room for a spare set of (3 - AAA) batteries, this case is perfect as a self-contained kit. It is easy to find, by feel, in any pack I use.
Like other reviewers, when I am frequently using my headlamp and need immediate access, I either wear it or put it in a pants or tent pocket, for easy access. In those scenarios, I don't usually use this case.
Bottom line: I highly recommend this case to anyone who packs or transports a Petzl headlamp as part of their gear.

Comments about Petzl Poche Tikka:
This case is very convenient. It is very durable and rigid which protects your headlamp or whatever else you choose to put in it. After buying this I purchased the Petzl Poche Zipka (the smaller model) to hold my Jawbone Bluetooth Headset.

Comments about Petzl Poche Tikka:
I loved having this as a place to store my headlamp. Even it is not a necessary item it was nice to have a place where I could store my headlamp during travel and not have to worry about any damage coming to my headlamp. Overall I love this product and hope to use it for many years to come.

Comments about Petzl Poche Tikka:
Not much to say about a pouch, but this one does what it needs to. It holds a spare set of 3 AAA batteries and your Tikka headlamp snugly. It has a belt loop on the back which assures it won't fall off, but a belt clip would have been more convenient. Protect your Tikka and buy this cover.

Comments about Petzl Poche Tikka:
Last year all my hiking buddies were envious of my Tikka XP, which rocks. Last trip I picked up this case at the last minute thinking I'll bring it back if it doesn't work. What a great little case. Just barely big enough to carry my XP with spare batteries. No more wondering if the on button has been bumped on inside my gear bag while hiking. And last trip? Yeah, they were jealous
