Comments about New England Glider Bi-Pattern 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
A great rope for outdoor use. The sheath has a great feel and the rope handles really well. The bi-pattern is useful on longer outdoor routes and the dry treatment was indispensable when I once had to belay from a wet riverbed. I wouldn't recommend this rope for use as an indoor rope, however. It isn't the most durable rope; the sheath really fuzzed out (and slipped a bit) after about 5 months of regular and frequent gym use. I would buy this rope again, but only when I'm looking for a new outdoor rope; I would recommend something cheaper/more durable for indoor and regular "workout" use.

Comments about New England Glider Bi-Pattern 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
Great feel, excellent contrasting bi-pattern makes it easy to find the middle even in low light, fairly light weight for a 10.2 mm. On the con side, exterior sheath abraded rather quickly on mine (clear thru the outer sheath) - though I was using it for multiple double-rope raps on rough rock. May have been a fluke, I don't know. Fortunately abrasion was near the end so I just cut a foot off. Still, a great rope.

Comments about New England Glider Bi-Pattern 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
This is a really great rope. It's fairly light weight, although what rope isn't kind of heavy.
Belaying and climbing on it is a joy. It takes falls really well (if your belayer is competent enough to give you a dynamic belay). It's pretty slick so take care in lowering/rappelling with it as it's kind of quick.
The dual pattern makes it easier to tell which end is which, find the correct end when flaking, and knowing when you're on your last half of rope on a rappel.

Comments about New England Glider Bi-Pattern 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
The bi color aspect of this rope is very helpful when it comes to rappeling. It also makes life easier at belay switchovers becasue it clear whos tied into what end. This rope is light and smooth and just dosnt feel like it gets in the way.

Comments about New England Glider Bi-Pattern 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I have had this rope for two months now, and though I cannot truly speak to its longevity, I can say that's it still looks new after a summer of indoor, toproping, and sport climbs. The rope handles really well. In the words of one of my climbing buddies, "feels like buttah". The bi-pattern thing is awesome, having come in handy during belay switch overs, rappels and flaking. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever buy another rope w/out it. I frequently get comments about it from those who are climbing with me and/or next to me and most everyone has said that this will be their next rope.

I like this rope! Excellent construction, and easy on the hands without gloves when repelling.
